Ogre Progress Report: March 2015 This is dark_sylinc writing again! Wanna know what we’ve been up to? Well, here it comes: 1. Improved shadow mapping quality. The PCF code I used was some snippet I had lying around since 2008. I now finally sat down and implemented better approaches. After (highest quality) : You can look in the forum thread for more information. Some community members have also posted more snippets with different filters. Some of these other filters may be provided out of the box eventually. 2. Hot reloading of Hlms shader templates: This has been supported for a while, but never publicly mentioned and the microcode cache could get in the way.

Dell has announced an important refresh of its monitor line-up, and I think that the Dell UltraSharp U3014 30-inch Monitor with PremierColor and the Dell UltraSharp U2913WM 29-inch Ultra-wide Monitor were the most interesting of all. First, the UltraSharp U3014 is great for its large-size and 2560×1600 resolution which is great for general work. Many people think that this type of display is for graphic designers, but I’ve been using a Dell 3007WFP since 2006 as a software engineer, then pro-blogger and I believe that such a large screen improves the productivity if pretty much whoever can afford it.
You’ve never seen a display quite like this. With built-in Thunderbolt technology, it doesn’t just give you more pixels. It gives you more possibilities. Double up on displays. Connect two high-resolution Apple Thunderbolt Displays to your MacBook Pro. No shortage of ports. A Thunderbolt port, three USB 2. 0 ports, a FireWire 800 port, and a Gigabit Ethernet port give you lots of options. Add on. And on. And on. Daisy-chain up to six high-performance devices for a complete desktop workstation. Thunderbolt technology. Built right in. The fastest, most flexible I/O ever lets this display do things others simply can’t.
Chapter 3: Resistance and Static Electricity As we have learned, some kinds of atoms contain loosely attached electrons. Electrons can be made to move easily from one atom to another. When those electrons move among the atoms of matter, a current of electricity is created. Take a piece of wire. The electrons are passed from atom to atom, creating an electrical current from one end to the other. Electrons are very, very small. A single copper penny contains more than 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (1x1022) electrons. Electricity "flows" or moves through some things better than others do.
What is transformation? In many cases a complex picture can always be treated as a combination of straight line, circles, ellipse etc. and if we are able to generate these basic figures, we can also generate combinations of them. Once we have drawn these pictures, the need arises to transform these pictures. We are not essentially modifying the pictures, but a picture in the center of the screen needs to be shifted to the top left hand corner, say, or a picture needs to be increased to twice it's size or a picture is to be turned through 90 0.

Most Helpful Customer Reviews 147 of 156 people found the following review helpful By TheDayday on July 19, 2014 Last year, 4K monitors were going for $3000+. There were only really three in the market: Dell, Sharp, and Asus (unless you count the Seiki 4K TV as a monitor). After CES, there has been a flood of sub-$1000 4K monitors from Dell, AOC, Phillips, Samsung, Asus, and Lenovo. I would avoid the Dell monitor like the plague as it maxes out at 30Hz. The Lenovo, like most Lenovo products, has been delayed to foreverdom. That leaves us with AOC, Samsung, Phillips, and Asus.
If you finally jumped on the 4K display bandwagon now that prices for the pixel-packed monitors have started to reach merely expensive, rather than outright obscene levels, have I got news for you: Your purchase is already obsolete! Dell announced its aptly named Dell UltraSharp 27 Ultra HD 5K Monitor on Thursday, which—you guessed it—is a 27-inch PC monitor with a resolution of 5120x2880. Yes, you read that right: It's a 5K monitor. Dell's display packs the equivalent of 14. 7 megapixels, compared to the approximately 8. 3MP found in a standard 3840x2160 4K monitor, and seven times the resolution of a typical 1080p display.
